Video Shoots

For producers and directors wishing to shoot film, video or live web casts Quad Studios can provide a wide variety of locations and infrastructure for both inside and out.

Interior - The FOH, 3500 sq ft of a converted textile mill with lofty ceilings is ideal for stage shoots using close ups and long dollies. An additional 10,000 sq ft is also available on the second floor. The studio spaces are sufficiently large, with their 20ft high ceilings, to have been used for several shoots in the past 12 months. These studios have the added advantage that the skylights can be blanked from above if required.

Exterior - Quad Studios stands within the grounds of a 19th Century wharf-side development complete with original buildings and large cobbled courtyard adjacent to the recently renovated and landscaped Grand Union Canal. A roof garden overlooking the city on one side and Leicester’s beautiful Abbey Park and gardens on the other is planned for 2007.

Quad can provide various types of staging, seating, lighting as well as scaffolding rigs, backdrops and stage curtains and a wide variety of props ranging from musical instruments to vintage sports cars and more. We can work, as required, with storyboards and creative teams advising as to suitability of location and availability of props.
